I graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc, where I studied Russian and English Philology. During my studies, I had the opportunity to visit foreign universities and experience different approaches to education, which significantly shaped my perspective on teaching and the role of schools in a child’s life. After graduation, I continued my pedagogical education at the Faculty of Education of Palacký University, while also starting to teach at a higher vocational school in the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy, which prepares future teacher assistants, school club educators, and kindergarten teachers.
I gained my management experience mainly by co-founding a successful international IT startup, completing qualification studies for school principals, and attending a semester course under the auspices of Harvard Business School. I have also recently completed an LL.M. legal program focused on school management, which further deepens my understanding of leading educational institutions.
I was present at the very beginning of Maple Bear Olomouc, when it was only a vision and concept. Together with the Maple Bear Czechia team, we managed to turn this vision into reality, and in September 2024 we welcomed our first children. Since then, we have been building a school that strives for top-quality education while also creating a strong community background for both children and parents. I see the school not only as an educational institution, but above all as an environment that supports creativity, joy in learning, and the natural development of a child’s personality.
My main mission is for children to truly love education and for learning to become a natural part of their lives—not only during school years, but in the long term, just as it once became part of mine.
Outside of school, I enjoy relaxing by reading horror and detective stories in the style of Edgar Allan Poe or Stephen King. I also like to spend my free time actively—whether working in the garden or cycling.
I am a qualified English language teacher with a Master’s degree in Primary Education and a Ph.D. in Education from Palacký University in Olomouc.
Before joining Maple Bear in 2024, I spent more than 30 years developing early foreign language education in both national and international contexts. Based on my long-term experience in teacher training at Palacký University, I also worked at the University of Rostock in Germany, where I further developed my academic and teaching career in an international environment.
In my role as Academic Coordinator at Maple Bear Olomouc, I focus on supporting teachers, students, and parents. My main goal is to create conditions for high-quality education based on proven pedagogical practices and strong ethical values. I strive to ensure that every student and teacher feels supported and motivated to reach their full potential. I also contribute to building a school culture based on respect, trust, and cooperation.
I believe education should awaken natural curiosity, support personal growth, and prepare students for life in a connected and dynamic world. My aim is to help children develop values, attitudes, and skills that enable them to become kind, creative, and responsible individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books, finding inspiration in theatre performances, and recharge by going on trips to the mountains.
Enrolment Manager
As Enrolment Manager, I am responsible for welcoming new families, daily communication with parents, and supporting the building of a strong school community. I organise visits and events for both current and prospective families and guide new arrivals through the enrolment process. Every day I meet parents and children at the school reception, where I strive to create a warm, supportive, and professional environment in which everyone feels truly welcome.
I studied management and economics in Prague and spent more than ten years working in the tourism industry. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, the ability to handle demanding situations, and effective organisational abilities. After the birth of my two daughters, I became more interested in the Czech education system, which led me to study at Palacký University, where I successfully completed a degree in Management of Educational Institutions in 2025.
What I value most about my work is the balance between administrative tasks and daily contact with children and parents—this variety gives me meaning and energy. I am happiest when I see children’s smiles and their enthusiasm every morning when they arrive at school. I believe education is not only about knowledge and skills, but also about the relationships formed along the way.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, exploring new places, hiking, and spending time by the sea in the sun. Above all, I value moments spent with my family.
At Maple Bear Olomouc, I am responsible for enrolment of new families, organising school events, and marketing activities. I guide new families through the admissions process and contribute to building an open and friendly school community. In marketing, I also work on developing the Maple Bear brand in Olomouc so that it is clear, trustworthy, and well known in the region.
I come from a background in public relations and media communication. I studied Media and Communication Studies at Metropolitan University Prague, where I also worked for several years as a media representative for a wide portfolio of clients and their brands. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, deepen my creative thinking, and master event management. During a later career break, I spent two years travelling across Europe, improving my language skills, meeting people from different cultures, and broadening my worldview.
What I value most about working at Maple Bear Olomouc is the combination of an international environment with a local context. I believe this global perspective helps children grow into open-minded, educated, and confident individuals. The marketing part of my role also allows me to express creativity, which is very important to me. I also have long-term experience working with children at summer camps.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, sports, travelling, music events, and volunteering on ecological farms.
At Maple Bear Olomouc, I work as a Grade 1 teacher. I come from Veracruz, Mexico, and have been living in the Czech Republic for two years.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a Master’s degree in Education from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). I have also recently begun studying Psychology, further deepening my understanding of human development and learning processes.
I have more than 15 years of experience in education, working with both children and adults in various settings—from language schools to kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools. This diverse experience has helped me develop a flexible and individual approach to each student.
What I love most about teaching is the moment when children naturally engage in learning and discover new things without even realising how much they are learning. Their enthusiasm, smiles, and joy are my greatest reward. I strive to create a kind, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel at home, are not afraid to make mistakes, and see them as a natural part of learning. I also place great emphasis on emotional intelligence as a key factor in long-term success.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and doing creative handicrafts. I am a very creative person and enjoy activities that allow me to express myself through my hands and imagination. I also love exploring local culture.
Teacher Garde 1
I joined Maple Bear as a Czech teacher in Grade 1 and feel very proud to be part of this inspiring community. I studied Primary School Education at Palacký University in Olomouc, which is also my hometown.
I have six years of experience as a primary school teacher, along with an internship abroad in Indonesia. I have also worked as an English teacher at language schools and organized children’s camps, all of which gave me valuable international and practical experience.
What I enjoy most about my work is the curiosity children bring to the classroom, their excitement for discovery and the joy of creating and growing together.
My goal is to create a warm and safe environment full of endless opportunities to explore – a classroom where children feel welcomed, supported, and excited to return every single day.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors – whether it’s hiking, running or just taking a peaceful walk in one of our parks in Olomouc. I also love painting, reading, playing board games and watching films. I’m always looking for new creative projects and inspiration to bring into our classroom. These activities keep me inspired and energized for my work with the students.
At Maple Bear, I work as a kindergarten teacher. Although I was born in Cuba, I have spent most of my life in Spain and consider myself Spanish.
I studied Primary Education with a specialization in Music at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and also completed piano studies at the conservatory in the same city. I have one year of experience teaching in primary school, and working with young children has always been very fulfilling for me.
What I enjoy most is observing children’s natural growth—their progress, new skills, and increasing confidence. I aim to create a classroom that is safe, joyful, and supportive, where children feel free to explore and express themselves.
I place great emphasis on creativity through play, music, and art, which help children understand the world around them. Music and movement are therefore an essential part of my teaching.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, discovering new music, and dancing salsa.
At Maple Bear, I work as a kindergarten teacher with the youngest children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Palacký University in Olomouc.
During my studies and professional journey, I have developed a deeper understanding of how children think, learn, and what they need to feel secure and develop naturally. Working with young children is not only my profession but also a great joy and daily inspiration.
It is very important to me that children feel safe, happy, and accepted in kindergarten. I believe learning should be a natural part of play, exploration, and everyday situations. Positive emotions and trust form the foundation of their development.
In my free time, I enjoy creative activities, spending time with animals, and I am also a big Formula 1 fan.
My role at Maple Bear is an after-school club educator, and I am happy to be part of a team that values respect, development, and children’s natural curiosity. I studied English Language and Art Education at Palacký University in Olomouc and completed a TEFL certificate.
Throughout my career, I have worked with both primary and lower secondary school students. I have experience as a teaching assistant and English teacher in public schools, and I have also been involved in extracurricular education, leading art clubs and working as a summer camp instructor.
What I value most is seeing children discover new things with joy, use their imagination, and gain confidence in what they do. My goal is to create a safe, inspiring, and friendly environment where children can freely develop and feel encouraged to grow.
In my free time, I enjoy calligraphy, handicrafts, graphic design, documentary films, and especially jazz and swing music, which I also love dancing to.

At Maple Bear, I work as a teaching assistant in the kindergarten with our youngest children.
I graduated from a pedagogical secondary school in Přerov, and I have been working with children since my student years. I quickly realised how natural it is for me to support children as they explore the world.
What I enjoy most is watching children grow, try new things, learn, and experience their small and big successes. Every day brings different moments that give my work meaning and energy.
I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where children can develop at their own pace. I value kind communication, respect for each child’s individuality, and encouragement of their curiosity.
In my free time, I enjoy coffee, music, playing piano and guitar, which help me relax and find inspiration for my daily work.
I am currently working as a teacher’s assistant at Maple Bear, where I have the opportunity to actively contribute to children’s education in an international environment.
I graduated from the Faculty of Arts, majoring in English for Professional Practice at the University of Pardubice. As part of my studies, I also spent six months in Spain through the Erasmus program, which enhanced both my language skills and intercultural experience. Next year, I plan to begin studying preschool and extracurricular pedagogy to expand my qualifications and fully dedicate myself to the teaching profession.
What I value most about my work is the opportunity to use the English language I studied while combining it with my passion for working with children. This connection is deeply fulfilling for me and is an area in which I want to continue developing.
My goal is to help children build a positive relationship with learning while supporting the development of their independence, confidence, and communication skills. I enjoy fostering their curiosity and helping them discover the world in a playful and natural way. At the same time, I strive to be a supportive presence and create an environment where children feel respected, motivated, and safe.

At Maple Bear, I work as a teacher’s assistant in a kindergarten, and I am very proud and grateful to be part of this beautiful and innovative mission of joyful education.
I come from Plzeň, where I studied caregiving with a focus on both children and seniors. I then continued my studies in Beroun, where I successfully completed a program in preschool and extracurricular pedagogy. I am currently studying at Palacký University in Olomouc, majoring in Primary School Teaching and Special Education. I have also been dedicated to the English language since childhood, and it holds a special place in my heart.
I have nearly four years of rich experience working with children. I have worked as a nanny/teacher in a children’s group, provided English tutoring for children aged 6 to 15, and participated in organizing extracurricular activities and events for parents and children.
Working with children has always been fulfilling for me. I have always known that I want to support young explorers in their growth, natural curiosity, and creativity. I enjoy observing each child’s uniqueness, courage, strength, and all the wonderful ideas their minds can create. My goal is to create a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, grow, and where together we can ensure that their spark of joy and curiosity never fades.
In my free time, I most enjoy relaxing in nature. I like listening to music, singing, self-educating, spending time with family and friends, learning to play the piano, painting, drawing, crocheting, and coming up with all kinds of creative activities. I also enjoy creating digital content for children. You could say I am a bit like “Ferda the Ant” – capable of doing all kinds of work.
