I am a qualified English language teacher with a Master’s degree in Primary Education and a Ph.D. in Education from Palacký University in Olomouc.
Before joining Maple Bear in 2024, I spent more than 30 years developing early foreign language education in both national and international contexts. Based on my long-term experience in teacher training at Palacký University, I also worked at the University of Rostock in Germany, where I further developed my academic and teaching career in an international environment.
In my role as Academic Coordinator at Maple Bear Olomouc, I focus on supporting teachers, students, and parents. My main goal is to create conditions for high-quality education based on proven pedagogical practices and strong ethical values. I strive to ensure that every student and teacher feels supported and motivated to reach their full potential. I also contribute to building a school culture based on respect, trust, and cooperation.
I believe education should awaken natural curiosity, support personal growth, and prepare students for life in a connected and dynamic world. My aim is to help children develop values, attitudes, and skills that enable them to become kind, creative, and responsible individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books, finding inspiration in theatre performances, and recharge by going on trips to the mountains.
At Maple Bear Olomouc, I work as a Grade 2 teacher. I come from Veracruz, Mexico, and have been living in the Czech Republic for two years.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a Master’s degree in Education from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). I have also recently begun studying Psychology, further deepening my understanding of human development and learning processes.
I have more than 15 years of experience in education, working with both children and adults in various settings—from language schools to kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools. This diverse experience has helped me develop a flexible and individual approach to each student.
What I love most about teaching is the moment when children naturally engage in learning and discover new things without even realising how much they are learning. Their enthusiasm, smiles, and joy are my greatest reward. I strive to create a kind, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel at home, are not afraid to make mistakes, and see them as a natural part of learning. I also place great emphasis on emotional intelligence as a key factor in long-term success.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and doing creative handicrafts. I am a very creative person and enjoy activities that allow me to express myself through my hands and imagination. I also love exploring local culture.
I joined Maple Bear as a Czech teacher in Grade 2 and feel very proud to be part of this inspiring community. I studied Primary School Education at Palacký University in Olomouc, which is also my hometown.
I have six years of experience as a primary school teacher, along with an internship abroad in Indonesia. I have also worked as an English teacher at language schools and organized children’s camps, all of which gave me valuable international and practical experience.
What I enjoy most about my work is the curiosity children bring to the classroom, their excitement for discovery and the joy of creating and growing together.
My goal is to create a warm and safe environment full of endless opportunities to explore – a classroom where children feel welcomed, supported, and excited to return every single day.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors – whether it’s hiking, running or just taking a peaceful walk in one of our parks in Olomouc. I also love painting, reading, playing board games and watching films. I’m always looking for new creative projects and inspiration to bring into our classroom. These activities keep me inspired and energized for my work with the students.
I graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc, where I studied Russian and English Philology. During my studies, I had the opportunity to visit foreign universities and experience different approaches to education, which significantly shaped my perspective on teaching and the role of schools in a child’s life. After graduation, I continued my pedagogical education at the Faculty of Education of Palacký University, while also starting to teach at a higher vocational school in the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy, which prepares future teacher assistants, school club educators, and kindergarten teachers.
I gained my management experience mainly by co-founding a successful international IT startup, completing qualification studies for school principals, and attending a semester course under the auspices of Harvard Business School. I have also recently completed an LL.M. legal program focused on school management, which further deepens my understanding of leading educational institutions.
I was present at the very beginning of Maple Bear Olomouc, when it was only a vision and concept. Together with the Maple Bear Czechia team, we managed to turn this vision into reality, and in September 2024 we welcomed our first children. Since then, we have been building a school that strives for top-quality education while also creating a strong community background for both children and parents. I see the school not only as an educational institution, but above all as an environment that supports creativity, joy in learning, and the natural development of a child’s personality.
My main mission is for children to truly love education and for learning to become a natural part of their lives—not only during school years, but in the long term, just as it once became part of mine.
Outside of school, I enjoy relaxing by reading horror and detective stories in the style of Edgar Allan Poe or Stephen King. I also like to spend my free time actively—whether working in the garden or cycling.
At Maple Bear Olomouc, I am responsible for enrolment of new families, organising school events, and marketing activities. I guide new families through the admissions process and contribute to building an open and friendly school community. In marketing, I also work on developing the Maple Bear brand in Olomouc so that it is clear, trustworthy, and well known in the region.
I come from a background in public relations and media communication. I studied Media and Communication Studies at Metropolitan University Prague, where I also worked for several years as a media representative for a wide portfolio of clients and their brands. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, deepen my creative thinking, and master event management. During a later career break, I spent two years travelling across Europe, improving my language skills, meeting people from different cultures, and broadening my worldview.
What I value most about working at Maple Bear Olomouc is the combination of an international environment with a local context. I believe this global perspective helps children grow into open-minded, educated, and confident individuals. The marketing part of my role also allows me to express creativity, which is very important to me. I also have long-term experience working with children at summer camps.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, sports, travelling, music events, and volunteering on ecological farms.
I studied English and Italian Philology in Opava, followed by a Master’s degree programme here in Olomouc. I then spent more than ten years working in customer service at an international company. At the same time, I have more than ten years of experience teaching English and Italian to both children and adults. I also worked as a Back Office Manager at a language agency, where I gained further experience in administration and work organisation.
I chose Maple Bear primarily because it is an international educational institution that places a strong emphasis on quality, professionalism, and children’s development. I am also very drawn to the opportunity to work in a bilingual and international environment, where I can make use of my language skills and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds on a daily basis. I am happy to be part of an environment with a meaningful mission that supports not only children’s education but also their personal development. I believe that my experience and skills can contribute to the smooth operation of the school and support the entire team.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, hiking, reading, and learning foreign languages. I especially value spending time with my family, discovering new places together, and experiencing different cultures.
At the elementary school, I am one of the first people parents, children, and visitors meet. In my role, I provide administrative support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
I am originally from Slovakia and studied Journalism at Comenius University in Bratislava. During my studies, I spent two semesters abroad through the Erasmus+ programme – at the University of Warsaw in Poland and Charles University in Prague. I also attended a German language course in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany, and gained practical experience through internships and part-time positions in the media.
After graduating, I worked as an editor in the English-language section of Radio Slovakia International and later had the opportunity to complete a graduate internship at ČT24 in Prague. Working in the media gave me valuable professional experience, but I gradually decided to take a different career path and focus on administration. For more than two years, I worked as a receptionist in both corporate and hotel environments, where I was able to make use of my organisational and communication skills, as well as my knowledge of English, Czech, and Slovak.
I was drawn to Maple Bear primarily because of its international and inspiring environment. I appreciate the opportunity to build on my administrative experience while also making use of the communication skills I developed during my time in the media. I am happy to be part of an educational institution that values growth, openness, and respect for different cultures. I believe that my attention to detail, reliability, and empathetic approach can contribute to a welcoming school environment and support the whole team.
In my free time, I am passionate about photography, which allows me to combine my creativity with my love of working with people. I mainly focus on lifestyle portraits of individuals, couples, and families, as well as documentary-style photography of family and other social events.
As a Grade 1 teacher, I focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and respectful environment where each of my students can develop at their own pace. In my work with children, I value an individual approach, support their natural curiosity, and strive to build a positive relationship with learning. I believe that the first years of school are crucial for children to develop a strong foundation not only in knowledge and skills, but also in their attitude towards education.
I studied Preschool and Extracurricular Education at the Secondary School of Education in Kroměříž, followed by a degree in Primary Education and Special Education at the Faculty of Education of Palacký University Olomouc. During both my secondary and university studies, I gained practical experience in mainstream primary schools as well as specialised schools, particularly in the fields of psychopaedics, speech therapy, and surdopaedics. I also worked with children at a day camp for preschool children in Napajedla, where I was a member of the camp staff in 2025 and 2026.
I was drawn to Maple Bear primarily by its emphasis on an individual approach to each student, combined with a strong academic programme. I appreciate that children are guided not only towards acquiring knowledge, but also towards independent thinking, collaboration, and an active approach to learning. This combination of high-quality education and a respectful approach to each child’s individual needs is very close to my own educational philosophy.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, singing, and dancing. I also love reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and going for walks with my dogs. Most of all, I value spending time with my loved ones and pursuing activities that bring me joy and inspiration.
I am a native English speaker from Australia. I gained my Bachelor of Arts degree there and worked in libraries for the next 10 years – specializing in children’s literacy programs, before moving to Czech. I have always loved sharing and reading books with children in a fun and interactive way.
Since 2016 I have been working here in Olomouc as an educator at international schools, gaining experience in Montessori and British standard curriculums and methodology. I have TEFL and Montessori qualifications, along with a wealth of experience teaching children of different ages and from diverse cultures and backgrounds, which has also helped mold me into the teacher I am today and influenced my personal philosophy and teaching methods.
I find it extremely fulfilling to encourage children’s natural curiosity and love of learning through interactive and play based teaching methods, centered around their individual interests, needs and skill levels, using mediums such as art, music, dance, books and manipulatives as teaching tools, all while supporting them in a safe and happy classroom environment.
I feel that this creates a positive foundation for their future growth. Seeing each child’s joy and wonder in learning new things and watching them grow is a huge reward for me. Maple Bear’s values and child centered learning methodology align with my own teaching philosophies, so I am happy to be part of Maple Bear Olomouc. It is a friendly, safe and supportive environment.
I am a creative soul, with a passion for art, reading, music and dance, with a great love of nature and all living beings on our planet.
My role at Maple Bear is an after-school club educator, and I am happy to be part of a team that values respect, development, and children’s natural curiosity. I studied English Language and Art Education at Palacký University in Olomouc and completed a TEFL certificate.
Throughout my career, I have worked with both primary and lower secondary school students. I have experience as a teaching assistant and English teacher in public schools, and I have also been involved in extracurricular education, leading art clubs and working as a summer camp instructor.
What I value most is seeing children discover new things with joy, use their imagination, and gain confidence in what they do. My goal is to create a safe, inspiring, and friendly environment where children can freely develop and feel encouraged to grow.
In my free time, I enjoy calligraphy, handicrafts, graphic design, documentary films, and especially jazz and swing music, which I also love dancing to.
At Maple Bear, I work as a kindergarten teacher with the youngest children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Palacký University in Olomouc.
During my studies and professional journey, I have developed a deeper understanding of how children think, learn, and what they need to feel secure and develop naturally. Working with young children is not only my profession but also a great joy and daily inspiration.
It is very important to me that children feel safe, happy, and accepted in kindergarten. I believe learning should be a natural part of play, exploration, and everyday situations. Positive emotions and trust form the foundation of their development.
In my free time, I enjoy creative activities, spending time with animals, and I am also a big Formula 1 fan.

I graduated from the Secondary Pedagogical School in Přerov and working with children has been with me since my student years – it was then that I first realized how natural it is for me to be close to children while they are discovering the world. Since then, working with children has been a daily part of my life and a great joy.
What fulfills me the most about working in a kindergarten is the opportunity to watch how children gradually grow, try new things, learn and enthusiastically experience their small and large successes. Every day brings different moments – sometimes small, sometimes completely exceptional – and these are the ones that give my work meaning and energy.
I try to create an environment in which children feel good, safe and can develop at their own pace. Kind and natural communication, respect for the individuality of each child and support for their curiosity are important to me. I want children to have space not only to learn, but mainly to enjoy learning and feel confident and supported while doing so.
In my free time, I like to go for a good coffee and devote myself to music – I play the piano and guitar. For me, it’s a way to relax, slow down and get new inspiration for my daily work.
At Maple Bear, I work as a kindergarten teacher. Although I was born in Cuba, I have spent most of my life in Spain and consider myself Spanish.
I studied Primary Education with a specialization in Music at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and also completed piano studies at the conservatory in the same city. I have one year of experience teaching in primary school, and working with young children has always been very fulfilling for me.
What I enjoy most is observing children’s natural growth—their progress, new skills, and increasing confidence. I aim to create a classroom that is safe, joyful, and supportive, where children feel free to explore and express themselves.
I place great emphasis on creativity through play, music, and art, which help children understand the world around them. Music and movement are therefore an essential part of my teaching.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, discovering new music, and dancing salsa.
I am currently working as a teacher at Maple Bear School, where I have the opportunity to actively participate in the education of children in an international environment.
I graduated from the Faculty of Arts, majoring in English Language for Professional Practice at the University of Pardubice. Part of my studies was also a six-month stay within the Erasmus program in Spain, which deepened my language skills and intercultural experience. In addition, next year I plan to start studying pre-school and extracurricular pedagogy in order to expand my qualifications and be able to fully devote myself to the teaching profession.
What I appreciate most about my job is the opportunity to use the English language I studied and at the same time connect it with my passion for working with children. This connection has been fulfilling for me for a long time and I see it as an area in which I want to develop further.
My goal is to help children build a positive relationship with education and at the same time develop their independence, self-confidence and communication skills. I enjoy supporting their curiosity and helping them discover the world in a playful and natural way. At the same time, I try to support children and create an environment in which they feel respected, motivated and safe.
In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends, listening to music or swimming.
I work as a kindergarten teacher at Maple Bear and I am very proud and grateful to be a part of this beautiful and innovative mission to joyful education.
I come from Pilsen, where I studied nursing with a focus on children and seniors, and then continued to Beroun, where I successfully completed my studies in preschool and extracurricular pedagogy. I am currently studying at Palacký University in Olomouc – Teaching for the 1st Grade of Primary School and Special Education. At the same time, I have been interested in English since childhood, which is a matter of the heart for me.
I have almost 4 years full of experience working with children. I worked as a nanny/teacher in a children’s group, tutored English for children from 6 to 15 years old and participated in extracurricular activities and events for parents with children.
Working with children has always fulfilled me. I always knew that I wanted to support young explorers in their growth, natural curiosity and creativity in some way. I enjoy watching children for their uniqueness, bravery, strength and everything that their heads can come up with. My goal is to create a safe and stimulating environment for children, where they can learn in a playful way, move forward, and where together we can prevent their flame of children’s joy and curiosity from ever going out.
I like to spend my free time relaxing in nature. I like to listen to music, sing, self-educate, meet family or friends, learn to play the piano, paint, draw, crochet and come up with any creative activity. I also like to create digitally for children. You could say that I’m something like Ferda the Ant – work of all kinds.
