Our Learning Cycle

At Maple Bear Brno, we create an educational path that accompanies children from kindergarten to primary education. From the 2027/2028 school year, we are opening a kindergarten for children from the age of 3, where we emphasize a safe environment, the natural development of independence, relationships, curiosity and daily contact with Czech and English.

kindergarten is followed by a preparatory year, which helps children gradually acquire skills important for entering school, such as concentration, cooperation, communication, greater independence and the first academic foundations.

From the 1st year, pupils continue at primary school, where we connect the Czech framework educational programme with the principles of Canadian education. They learn actively, in context and in two languages, with an emphasis not only on knowledge, but also on critical thinking, communication, cooperation and the ability to take responsibility for their own learning.

The individual phases follow each other naturally, but each respects the age and current needs of the child. The goal is not to speed up children, but to give them such support and challenge in each period that will help them grow further.
